Meet the Doctor: Christina A. Connelly, DCNew Britain born Dr. Connelly originally intended to go into medical research. After obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences from Quinnipiac University, she interned with a non-profit organization that helped Waterbury high school students explore the medical field. She also spent time as a summer research student studying plant pathology of the sudden wetland dieback in the saltwater marshes throughout the East coast.
With the research behind her, Christina went on to receive her Doctorate in Chiropractic from the University Of Bridgeport College Of Chiropractic. In her final semester she lobbied for health reform at the National Chiropractic Legislative Conference in Washington DC and interned with other chiropractors.
